After School Programs

BSS After School Programs – Enrollment notices are going home on Friday, September 26

Confirmation letters are going home on Friday, September 26. Parents, if you sent in registration for our PTO-sponsored After School Programs, please check your child’s backpack for a confirmation letter. The letters list which programs children were enrolled in and which programs they were not. Unfortunately, some of the programs had more interest than space (program sponsors have to set limits). The good news is that we only had to run a lottery for two of our programs.

The letters also tell if a different payment amount is due as a result of the lottery or insufficient enrollment. The Babysitter Training did not have enough interest this session (there is a minimum of 8 for the Red Cross to send an instructor). We will try to run it again in the winter and/or spring.

If you sent in a registration form but do not receive a confirmation letter, please contact Jenn Ruebush at jambush@verizon.net.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped process over 120 registration forms! Thanks as well to our parents and teachers who make these programs possible!

The next session will run January through early March, with registration in December. Please contact Jenn Ruebush if you would like to offer a program next time or if you would like to help with the After School Programs committee.

Email Updates

Hello everyone. It appears that the only way for you to be automatically notified of updates to this online bulletin is to sign up at www.blogger.com and get a free account. Once you have done that, you can click on "Follower" at the bottom of the BSS Bulletin page. This should inform you when updates have been posted. Or, the easier option is just to check the online bulletin daily for important updates and information. Sorry for the confusion!

Please understand that ALL information found on this Blog will be positive in nature. Think of this as your new Bobcat Bulletin. This Blog will be used as an additional tool to keep track of your BSS school schedule of events and notices. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
